Definition Redefined:
To design an artifact in which objects such as A4 paper, a beach umbrella and up to 3 shopping bags can be carried on a moped safely and comfortably at a low cost.
Gathering User Needs:
I found this experience quite interesting and incredibly productive, I interviewed 5 people pictured below who use mopeds/scooters on a daily basis. They use it for personal use and have no other form of private transport therefore depend on their mopeds for all their travel needs. I met them individually and ask various questions taking photos and videos for reference and the interviews were also conducted next to their mopeds where they are regularly parked. Having conducted the interviews I have discovered common user needs and annoyances to further this study. All were forthcoming with their information and will continue to give me feedback throughout the design process.

In-depth Problems Redefined:
- A4 papers don't fit comfortably within the existing storage solutions
- More than 3 shopping bags aren't usually carried
- Necessary to travel with a backpack or handbag
- Long objects are currently impossible to carry such as:
- Surf board
- No way to carry a pet to go to the vet
- Small hold on bags are sightly too big to take to the airport and local stations
- Difficulty maneuvering the moped especially turning, applying gas and braking depending on modal of bike
- Reduce fear of driving unsafely due to overloading
- Irritating having to take bags into the petrol station when paying for petrol
- Lack of leg room when loaded
